Refrigerator Recycling Program

Efficiency MAINE has announced this new program.  Since WEST BATH participates in their PACE Financing Program, residents who have an extra fridge or freezer you're willing to part with, they'll pick it up for FREE and you'll receive a $50 rebate.  Units must be between 10-30 cubic feet and in working condition to qualify.  F.M.I., call 866-376-2463 or visit efficiencymaine.com and to schedule a free pickup.

 Maine Revenue Services has released information for the Maine Residents Property Tax and Rent Refund "Circuitbreaker" Application for the tax year 2010.  The State no longer distributes the Application Booklets to us.  You may apply online at www.maine.gov/revenue or call 624-7894 to have a booklet mailed to you.

Sagadahoc County Residents Prescription Discount Card 
Program

Sagadahoc County (Board of Health) has launched a new program to help county residents deal with the high cost of prescription medications. Through a partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo), the free Prescription Discount Card program provides area residents with a card that offers an average of 24 percent savings off the retail price of prescription medications.

The card can be used by those who do not have insurance or by those who have prescriptions not covered by insurance. The card can also be used on some pet medications and is accepted at 9 out of 10 pharmacies throughout the region.
